The Ring We Might Have Made for Sir Ian.
It is a statement of record that for the Peter Jackson Lord of the Rings movie trilogy we made the One Ring in all its appearances and Vilya, ring of Elrond.
We did not make any of the other so called 'rings of power' and jewellery in the movie. For legal reasons we cannot use the actual name of the ring worn by the character played by Sir Ian Mckellen. We call it “the Ring for Sir Ian”. It is not licensed merchandise.
We have however created our own interpretation of this ring based on descriptions of this ring given in the Lord of the Rings books. It was originally made in .
